It's already hot at 6:15am and there is evidence of last nights storm. Puddles and wind blown flowers from the poinciana trees and the river looks muddy.
Christmas day at the beach was slightly overcast often promising a storm that never materialized. Overcast enough to trick someone who should know better into getting sunburnt. We spent the afternoon beside a beautiful pool and the evening eating seafood as the clouds gathered.
This morning the morning sunlight danced across the river. Technical ineptitude allowed me to produce this lovely image of sunshine and mangrove shadows
It's summer solstice. Warm humid slight wind and no Stonehenge to dance around. In the northern hemisphere it is the festival of St Lucy an opportunity to light candles and feast. How like Christmas and Hanukkah.
After an absence from the blog I had to include this iconic Australian Shot as afternoon clouds roll in from the east with the afternoon sea breeze. More images from the last week coming soon.
