It's 10:30am the day before summer solstice and outside it is blowing a gale and I have had to stake my prized sunflowers which are now over 2m high. And, yes that is a fire as it is 9˚C outside.

Amazing. I put a doona back on the bed last night, not as cold as your weather, but a lot cooler than the 34 degrees from the day before.
I have a memory of weather being more consistent in the past, but maybe I'm just forgeting all the ups and downs.
